IPI was started in 2002 by Joseph Perl and Morey Schapira during the height of the second intifada launched by the Palestinain Authority. Students on the Bay Area college campuses had no where to turn for support or assistance in battling against the large propaganda campaign of misinformation pursued by the anti-Israel forces. The organization is a registered 501c(3) non profit and raises money within the Greater San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Community. Board Members:
